Lost Child

You know where you are now
Try to forget where you've been.
Look to the future with your Angels
Try to forget what you've seen.

You can never forget a traumatic past
Still, you're very strong inside.
I know you was hurt and
That is something, you just cannot hide.

You were a Lost Child
With no-one to turn to.
Nobody was aware what was happening
If only somebody knew.

The day the memory dies
I think there'll be a sigh.
Of relief but no sorrow
There'll be tears, but I won't cry.
